During the last week, I have been in Perth, Australia, for a short visit to Edith Cowan University (ECU). I was invited as a Visiting Scholar at the School of Business and Law under the University’s Visiting Scholars Program at the Centre for Work and Organisational Performance (CWOP).
I have had the opportunity to collaborate with my fellow colleagues Helen and Pi-Shen at ECU and Jari at the University of Helsinki on our joint projects. It is always an honor to come here to ECU and work on papers and generate new research ideas.
I also hade the opportunity to both listen to and present at the Teaching & Learning seminar at the School of Business and Law. Yesterday I listen to Claire and Ashlee present on their great work on using Padlet as a tool for learning and examination and Helen talking about one of the international collaborations in teaching. Today I also did a short presentation at the Technology Enhanced Learning ‘Brown Paper Bag’ Lunchtime Series hosted by the School of Business and Law’s Office of Teaching and Learning. My presentation was about my insights from taking time off work at the University in Sweden and spending a semester on a sabbatical devoted to teaching.
SBL @ ECU, thanks for hosting me, and hope to be back soon!
