During 2022, I was, together with colleagues from Edith Cowan University in Australia, nominated for a Program Award at the national Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT). The nomination was for the internationalization efforts done at Edith Cowan University, which are based on the long-term international inter-disciplinary collaboration between Umeå University and Edith Cowan University. The collaboration was designed and started by Helen Cripps and myself in 2017 and has continued ever since.
Unfortunately, we missed out on the award, but it has been an honor to be nominated and it shows that our collaboration is a excellent example of internationalization and innovative teaching.
The Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT) were established in 1997 by the Australian Government to celebrate and reward excellence in university teaching.
